Old is Not a Dirty Word

Now through 7/20/2019 | Center On Contemporary Art (COCA)

Visual Arts & Galleries Fremont/Ballard

There is a widespread belief that older women, especially lesbians, have had their day and are now up on the shelf to be consulted as “elders” instead of vital participants in the current creative workforce. CoCA, in our disruption of that belief, present an extravaganza of art and performances created by dykes over the age of 50. Old is Not a Dirty Word includes artwork by Lamar Van Dyke, Zoe Harris, Kathy Ross, Ingrid Berkhout, Bear Dyson, Ann Coppel, Tamara the Trapeze Lady, and Strawhat.
