Bangkok-based artist, Kriangkrai Kongkhanun, invites us into a sinful abyss of his own creation. The twisted design of the figures in his images draws from traditional Buddhist scripture in which demons have their appearances alternated by the bad karma they carry. For Kongkhanun, the demons are physical representations of how humans feel when they are seized negative emotions such as vengeance, anger, lust, greed, or jealousy.
