Juventino Aranda: Pocket Full of Posies

6/16/2018 through 9/23/2018 | Frye Art Museum

Museums Capitol Hill/Central District

Born to Mexican immigrants in Walla Walla, WA, Juventino Aranda’s search for self-identity informs his artistic practice as it relates to the social, political, and economic struggles of Chicanos. This exhibition will present new works that explore the ways in which common objects and imported products become emblems of dual cultural identity.
