Readings & Lectures Capitol Hill/Central District

This year our neighbors at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral celebrated their 130th anniversary with a building restoration project, the addition of a labyrinth and the publication of a new book on the cathedral’s early history. Alan J. Davidson, author of The History of St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral: St. Mark’s Parish 1889-1897 (published by St. Mark’s), speaks today about the formation of St. Mark’s, Seattle’s second Episcopal parish, and of the demographic, economic, political, social and cultural context that shaped Seattle.
