GETTING AROUND
It's easy to get in and around South Lake Union - the entire neighborhood is at the heart of a transportation nexus that can quickly take you to nearly every part of the region. The new Seattle Streetcar runs daily at 15 minutes intervals offering an easy, fast link between South Lake Union, Denny Triangle and the vibrant downtown core, with connections to regional transit hubs that will take riders to and from the airport via Light Rail by 2009.
Just up the west side of the lake, you'll find the Electric Boat Company, where you can rent a non-polluting Duffy 21-footer boat on scenic Lake Union. South Lake Union is also home to the world's largest seaplane airline. Kenmore Air operates regular service to Vancouver and Victoria B.C. and the magnificent San Juan Islands. Just take the streetcar north to Lake Union Park and you are on your way!
