Truly a small town in a big city, Queen Anne sits within walking distance of the Downtown Seattle core. Home to Seattle's arts and entertainment community, Queen Anne is the gateway to Seattle's finest entertainment venues yet still maintains a strong residential neighborhood atmosphere. In Queen Anne you can find a variety of activities for the entire family.
Seattle Center
Nestled in the heart of our community is the Seattle Center, home to the world famous Space Needle, Experience Music Project, Science Fiction Museum, Pacific Science Center. This 21 acre facility was the site of the 1962 World's Fair. This park is Seattle's version of New York City's Central Park and hosts a variety of events through the entire year.

Seattle Center hosts the annual Northwest Folklife, Bite of Seattle, Seattle International Children's Festival, Bumbershoot as well as many smaller festivals associated with Festál. You'll also find the Center House, which includes a food court and other nearby entertainment venues such as an arcade and amusement park.

Seattle Center and the vicinity is also home to a variety of theatrical venues such as Intiman Playhouse, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Teatro Zinzanni, and McCaw Hall, home of the Seattle Opera and Pacific Northwest Ballet.
Just steps from the Space Needle is Key Arena, home court to the Seattle Sonics, Seattle Storm women's basketball and Seattle Thunderbirds (Western Hockey League) ice hockey.
