Pioneer Square is home to many charming sidewalk cafés and coffee shops

Whether you a looking for a great cup of coffee at a sidewalk café, a quick bite over happy hour cocktails, or an elegant dinner for two, Pioneer Square offers a variety of dining options that will keep visitors coming back time-and-again.

No visit to Pioneer Square would be complete without a stop in one of the neighborhood's many unique coffee shops and cafés. You can start your morning with a great cup of joe - or a decaf-double-tall-not-too-hot-two-pumps-hazelnut latte - at Zeitgeist, All-City, Grand Central Bakery, Caffe Umbria, Starbucks, Tully's, or Cherry Street Espresso. Hungry for Cajun, Greek, Indian, Mexican, Japanese, or Italian? No problem, Pioneer Square has you covered.

Looking for a cold pint on a hot summer day? In addition to the dozens of neighborhood haunts that offer great happy hours, Pioneer Square is home to two breweries that serve great food alongside their award-winning beers. Local favorite Elysian Brewing - which also operates brew pubs in Green Lake and on Capital Hill - recently opened Elysian Fields directly across from Qwest Field. A little farther south, across the street from Safeco Field, one finds Pyramid Brewery, which opens up an outside beer garden for Mariner's home games.
