Tourism Trends
The Tri-Cities lie in the heart of Washington Wine Country and boast more than 100 wineries within a 60 mile radius. The connection between wine and tourism is strengthening as prospective visitors from around the world take note of the area’s award-winning wines.

Sports and recreation are top draws for the Tri-Cities. Professional sports teams include the Tri-City Americans WHL ice hockey; Tri-City Dust Devils, a professional affiliate of the Colorado Rockies; and the Tri-Cities Fever, a member of the Arena Football 2 league.

The area, which lies at the confluence of the Snake, Yakima and Columbia Rivers, is also a mecca for sailing, power and pleasure boating, waterskiing, swimming, fishing, windsurfing, and more. An exceptional climate and ten golf courses lure golfers throughout the year.
