Seattle's historic Pike Place Market, the oldest continually operating public farmers market in the nation, has just celebrated its 100th anniversary. This colorful and fascinating downtown "must see" attraction has over 250 one-of-a-kind businesses including the first Starbucks Coffee Shop. In addition to commercial businesses, local farmers and craftspeople engage visitors in the "meet the producer" tradition. On this tour, meet the farmers who grow the food, the artists who create the art, and discover why Pike Place Market is considered Seattle's heart and soul. See the world in this one location...it is, without question, a feast for the senses.

The Market hospitality begins with a brief welcome by the Pike Place Market Preservation & Development Authority followed by a guided tour through the Market. During the tour, meet the producers and receive treats and treasures along the way provided by specialty vendors ready to make you feel right at home. From produce to seafood, comic books to coffee, hand-crafted cheese to hand-carved trinkets, Seattle's diverse Market vendors are sure to have something for everyone. A special treat is a tasting of Washington State Wines at the Pike Place Market Wine Tasting Room.
