Starbucks

On this tour you will see the best view of Seattle - from the perspective of a local! Our local expert will take you to vsit the most popular and famous sites in Seattle.

The tour begins with a drive through downtown Seattle en route to historic Pioneer Square, Seattle's oldest residential area, now a major visitor attraction with restaurants, galleries and lively clubs. A highlight of the Pioneer Square tour will be a stop at a local Starbucks coffee shop. Here, a Starbucks Coffee Specialist and Starbucks Baristas, will board the coach to host a private coffee tasting and brief education seminar. This unique experience will give guests a taste of what Seattle is so famous for and each guest receives an 8 ounce latte to drink as the tour continues.

The next stop is Seattle's most recognizable landmark, the Space Needle. This icon stands 605 feet tall and boasts fabulous 360-degree views of the most unforgettable scenery in the Northwest. From the Observation Deck see Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges and, of course, the beautiful city of Seattle. The Space Needle was built for just $4.5 million and during the 1962 World's Fair nearly 20,000 people a day traveled to the top. The Space Needle hosted over 2.3 million visitors during the Fair and is still, over 45 years later, Seattle's number one tourist destination.

Space NeedleSPACE NEEDLE

Go from zero to "wow" as you embark on a 41 second journey skyward aboard the Needle's elevator:

  • 10 seconds: see the sparkling waters and maritime activity on Puget Sound.
  • 20 seconds: Mt. Rainier becomes a majestic snow cone.
  • 30 seconds: skyscrapers appear like giant Legos dotting the skyline.
  • 41 seconds: the doors open to the newly remodeled Observation Deck featuring complimentary Swarovski Telescopes to get an up close and personal view of Seattle's commanding sights.

Following the Space Needle, you will enjoy a scenic drive through Seattle's best neighborhoods and learn fun facts about Seattle's booming real estate market and experience more infamous views.

Pike Place MarketFISH MONGERS AT THE PIKE PLACE MARKET

The last stop on the tour is Pike Place Market, the nation's oldest continually operating farmers market. Known for its exciting sights, sounds and aromas Pike Place Market began in 1907 and, over a century after its founding, has remained a vital part of Seattle's social and economic fabric. The nine-acre historic district hosts an estimated nine million visitors each year who come to experience a feast for the senses and shop for an incredible array of products. Helping to make up the market experience are local farmers, craftspeople, businesspeople, and those crazy fish throwers. You may even get the chance to throw a fish at the fish market! There will be time to shop and explore this fascinating area, and easy-to-read maps will be provided for those who wish to linger on their own.
