In the heart of the city, at the historic Pike Place Market, Shug’s Soda Fountain & Ice Cream takes a classic idea and brings it to Seattle with a modern flair.
Opened May 2016 by Seattle natives Colleen Wilkie and Paul Dormann, Shug’s brings you all of the nostalgia in a beautiful, light and modern space.
Featuring house-made syrups, sauces and toppings, Lopez Island Creamery small-batch and independent ice cream, locally roasted organic coffee, beer, wine and ice cream cocktails; Shug’s Soda Fountain has a little something for everyone. Whether it’s a day out with the family or a night out with your sweetie, Shug’s is the place to be.
Happily enjoyed items include: Champagne Float- Our most popular ice cream cocktail; Dixie Split- Our take on the banana split; Shugsicle- House-made orange soda with vanilla ice cream float; S’more Sundae with fresh, table side roasted marshmallows and homemade waffle cones, 20+ flavors of ice cream and vegan options.
