CONVENTION SCORECARD

Chicago InviteSCVB Convention Sales On the Road, Water and Race Track
This week, SCVB's convention sales team and more than 25 bureau member sponsors will host two events for top association meeting planners and executives in Chicago. "Seattle is a fresh destination, so we're trying to find fresh ideas for client events," said Jerri Lane, SCVB Vice President Convention Sales.

On July 25, The Seattle destination sales team will host clients for an afternoon of thoroughbred horse racing at Arlington Park Race Track, and one lucky guest will be invited to the winner's circle to present the crown to the winner of the Seattle Race. On July 26, the Seattle sales contingent will greet clients Seattle style - an evening cruise reception on Lake Michigan.
