PUBLICATIONS & PROGRAMS

With several different publications and programs to choose from, the Bureau enables you to target your marketing efforts to reach specific markets. Use the information below to discover which publications or programs are appropriate for your business advertising.

TO REACH INDIVIDUAL VISITORS, BOTH CONVENTION DELEGATES AND TOURISTS:

Visitors Guide (includes Lodging and Dining Guides): The official visitor publication of Seattle-King County, this beautiful 4-color magazine contains information on lodging, attractions, entertainment, restaurants, shopping and transportation. Published twice-a-year, the digest-sized format provides visitors a compact and user-friendly way to view information and advertising designed to educate them about and direct them to member businesses.

Visitor Mailing List: Names and addresses of all current and future visitors who request information are available. If you are interested in mailing your brochure or promotional piece directly to these valuable prospects, while they are still planning their trip, this monthly program is for you.

Brochure Direct Mail Program: Reach the same group as with the Visitor Mailing List, but avoid postage costs and save time by including your current brochure in the packet of information mailed daily in response to visitor requests. This quarterly subscription is designed for businesses interested in increasing visitor traffic.

Web Links and Ads: The Bureau's web site, www.VisitSeattle.org, receives thousands of prospective visitors each week. Members can purchase a hyper-link from the Bureau's web site to their web site for a nominal set-up fee, and square button type ads at strategic locations throughout the site.

Video Wall at Seattle Visitor Center: Display your message to hundreds of thousands of convention delegates and leisure travelers who annually walk by or stop in at the Seattle Visitor Center in the Washington State Convention and Trade Center lobby. The video wall runs a 5-minute advertising loop in one of four 46" video screen quadrants. We display 15 and 30 second visual messages (no sound) from members. Each ad plays 12 times per hour or about 5,500 times per month. You can run full motion video, animation or still images.

TO REACH LEISURE TRAVEL PROFESSIONALS:

Professional Travel Planners Guide: Another beautiful, 4-color magazine designed specifically for travel professionals in the leisure travel trade. This very targeted publication is distributed only to travel professionals who are planning to bring leisure travelers to Seattle-King County, either in groups or individually. Accommodations, restaurants, attractions, retailers and transportation companies interested in attracting more leisure business can tap into this lucrative market with an ad in this annual publication.

TO REACH CONVENTION MEETING PLANNERS:

Meeting Planners Guide: The "yellow pages" of the convention and hospitality industry in Seattle-King County, this publication is a guide to member meeting facilities and member services available to meeting planners. The facilities section consists of formatted, 4-color ads and listings. The services section lists selected members by business category with contact information and descriptions of Bureau member businesses. The Meeting Planners Guide is also online. Many advertising options are available to members both in print and online.

Monthly Convention Booking Notices: With this annual program, subscribers receive monthly notices of all conventions, meetings and tradeshows booked with the Bureau through the previous month. Subscribers not only reach meeting planners before non-subscribers but can reach meeting planners who have booked meetings with short lead times and need to make quick buying decisions.

TO REACH BUREAU MEMBER COMPANIES:

Membership Mailing List/Email List: The Bureau's membership list is available to rent for a one time mailing in Excel format to enable you to reach other members with offers of interest to them. We also offer an email blast service to our membership.
