The first of its kind on the West Coast, the Seattle Cheese Festival is a celebration of cheese in general and local artisan cheesemakers in particular. 35,000 people each year attend classes, buy cheeses and sample free fromage from the Pacific Northwest and around the world. Northwest Folklife Festival

The largest folk, ethnic and traditional arts event in North America, this annual community-based event held at the Seattle Center features traditional arts that preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the Pacific Northwest.
