Beer & Breweries

Beer lovers love Seattle

With over 200 independent breweries across Washington state, there are countless ways to taste craft beer in Seattle. The Emerald City undoubtedly remains IPA country, but a new generation of brewers is balancing its love of hoppy brews with a thirst for experimentation. Meanwhile, the city’s more established breweries continue innovating, balancing surefire classics with specialty batches of sours, imperial stouts or barrel-aged cult favorites created in such small batches, they’re almost exclusively found in Seattle. While away an afternoon in a Seattle taproom with an ever-fresh lineup of tasty suds.
