Art Galleries

Many districts host gallery walks or stay open late on certain evenings. Check out First Thursdays in Pioneer Square, which boasts the city's largest concentration of art galleries, and enjoy extended gallery hours and exhibit openings, along with refreshments and great people watching. The downtown Seattle Art Museum neighborhood, Belltown, and Capitol Hill also offer a great selection of galleries. Whether you are looking for jewelry, glass art, sculpture, paintings, photography or fine crafts, the options are endless. See the links below for information about specific monthly shows.

Designed in 1992 by noted architect George Suyama, the William Traver Gallery occupies a dramatic 4,000 square foot space in downtown Seattle.
