Literary & Lectures

The Jack Straw Writer’s Program offers the opportunity for writing, interviewing and discussing the written word. The Richard Hugo House hosts some of the most interesting literary events in Seattle; from youth programs to poetry readings and exhibits open to the public. Look up the current lecture or poetry series at Seattle Arts and Lectures, or visit the Seattle Public Library for an author visit and discussion. The Elliott Bay Book Company also offers, on average, ten author readings each week in their intimate reading room.
