The Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture is located on the University of Washington campus. The Museum exhibits artifacts from throughout the Pacific Rim, including Northwest Coast Native American masterpiece baskets, archaeological materials, carvings and other artworks. The museum's permanent exhibit Pacific Voices includes a display about the First Salmon Ceremony, an annual gathering held by many Pacific Northwest tribes to celebrate the return of the salmon each spring. www.washington.edu/burkemuseum

The Seattle Art Museum in downtown Seattle exhibits a variety of Native American artworks from the Northwest Coast including ceremonial masks, textiles and sculptures in both traditional and contemporary forms. Log House Museum
