Festivals

Whether you feel like dancing, singing, eating, or just having ridiculous amounts of fun, this is your destination for festivals. Seattle hosts premier arts and cultural festivals year round, with the biggest of all being the grand celebration that is Bumbershoot, the Labor Day weekend spectacular that features more than 2,500 visual and performing artists. Rolling Stone magazine named it one of the five best festivals in the U.S. (April 2004 issue). Other Seattle festival favorites include NW Folklife, SEAFAIR, and the University District Street Fair.

The annual Argosy Christmas Ship Festival sets sail Nov. 28-Dec. 23.
