Kelly Peiffer Joins Roxanne Townsend in Seattle’s
Midwest Sales Office
Industry Veteran Brings Entrepreneurial Spirit, Drive for Results and
Experience across Multiple Markets and Professional Disciplines to her New Post
SEATTLE – Seattle’s Convention & Visitors Bureau (SCVB) announced the addition of Kelly Peiffer as National Account Director, Midwest office, effective June 1. Kelly joins Roxanne Townsend representing Seattle in the Midwest. Peiffer is widely known as a high-performance sales professional with more than 15 years’ experience in tourism sales, destination marketing and business development.
Peiffer is responsible for hotel, convention center and citywide business for SCVB’s association business in the Midwest, with a special focus on health and medical meetings.
Peiffer was selected for the position after an exhaustive national search. She brings an impressive background of convention and meetings industry experience to the position and boasts in-depth knowledge of the Midwest market.
Most recently, she served as National Account Executive for VISIT Milwaukee in the organization’s headquarters office. Previously, she managed the organization’s Washington, D.C. satellite office.

In addition to its Midwest satellite office, SCVB maintains a satellite office in Washington, D.C. and its headquarters in Seattle.
Seattle’s Convention and Visitors Bureau, a private, nonprofit marketing organization, has served as Seattle/King County’s official destination marketing organization (DMO) for more than 50 years. The goal of these marketing efforts is to enhance the employment opportunities and economic prosperity of the region.
