Seattle’s Pacific Science Center has announced the extension of the popular Harry Potter: The Exhibition exhibit through Feb. 13, 2011.
More than 200 authentic costumes and props from the Harry Potter films are on display in settings inspired by the film sets. The 10,000-square-foot experiential exhibit transports patrons into scenes such as the Great Hall, Hagrid's hut and the Gryffindor common room.
Iconic artifacts and costumes are on display, including Harry's original wand and eyeglasses, the Marauder's Map, school uniforms, Lord Voldemort’s robes and the Sorcerer’s stone. Items from
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the two-part series finale, are also on display. And, in tandem with the exhibit, the Science Center’s Boeing IMAX Theatre is showing the first installment of the film finale in IMAX 3D.
